Questions

Before
you ask

Do I need a licence or insurance?

No. As an EAPC it is treated as a bicycle in England, Scotland and Wales: no licence, registration, road tax or insurance. You need to be 14 or over.

How far can I go on one charge?

Up to around 100 miles (160 km). Real range depends on rider weight, hills, weather and how much you pedal.

What if the battery runs low mid-shift?

The 54Ah battery is made to swap: take it out, put in a charged pack and keep riding. Ask us about spare packs on WhatsApp.

Is maintenance included?

With weekly rental, maintenance is included. If you buy, message us on WhatsApp to find out what is covered.

Is it good for delivery work?

Yes. The long range, the swappable battery and the rear rack are made for full delivery shifts as well as the daily commute.

Where can I ride it?

Anywhere a bicycle can go: roads and cycle lanes. Like any bicycle, it cannot be ridden on the pavement.

How much does it cost?

To buy: £1,599 paid in full, or a £500 deposit plus 15 weekly instalments of £100, paid online by card. To rent: £75 per week through the Hawk Motorcycles website. It's all just below.

How do I get my bike?

After you pay online, you collect it at Hawk Motorcycles, 4 Oak Grove Road, London SE20 7RQ. Message us on WhatsApp to arrange a time.
